{Preeminent London Burlesque Cabaret Club for Birthday Party and Hen Night Groups|

Our pick of the cream of Greater london's burlesque, cabaret and comedy scene for birthday and hen party groups.||What Greater london burlesque, cabaret and comedy club is greatest for birthday or hen party groups|||} Tips and recommendations for what to look out for.

Of the West end venues the pick of the crop for birthday parties and hen parties has to be Madame Jojos and Volupte. Both have late licences and dancing afterwards although both though are also very pricey. . Volupte is also very much a sit down and eat kind of venue and can be a bit officey to say the least. On the more intimate tip is hosting some hot acts right now but it really is only big enough to swing a cat in and for a whole evening out might feel slightly claustrophobic. is hosting the excellent Tassel club on Fridays but otherwise is to avoided. Expensive too. Bethnal Green Mens Working Club in Greater london's East End also hosts some great nights although the venue itself and their staff are very mediocre The food is abominable and lets just say the mixology revolution appears to have passed then by too. One to avoid. West and North Greater london are pretty dry of good venues too although an honorable exception is Proud Cabaret plus Cobden Club and Notting Hill Arts Club host some excellent show cases
Strangely enough it is South Greater london which seems to have the pick of the burlesque cabaret venues particularly for the younger crowd Peacock Bar in Clapham Junction seems to have won every award under the sun since opening six months ago with its formula of combining burlesque and cabaret with retro 70s, 80s, 90s Djs after till 2.30am. Their Stars In Your Eyes program has also proved a big hit with birthday and hen partys South London is also the home for Banana Cabaret which remains resolutely popular despite regular price hikes and no review would be complete without mentioning the excellent Vauxhall Tavern (note gay venue).
Of the commercial comedy clubs Jongleurs and several of the Leicester square venues are a safe if not inspiring choice However expect at least one venue to adopt a named night soon.. This is often the preeminent way to get hear more cutting edge and fresh material.
So there we have it Greater london's burlesque, comedy and cabaret scene from the inside. We hope you enjoyed it and will find it useful. Keep your ears and eyes peeled for more reviews from Burlesque Insider Finally if you have any suggestions or ideas do contact me
