Motherboards For AMD Processors

AMD are a global leader when it comes to providing cost effevctive and innovaitve solutions in the fields of microprocssors and graphics, and when it coems to microprocessors they quite often oustmart their bifggest rivals Inel. Unlike Intel howeer; they do not manufacture therir own motherboards preferring to use the skills of several high quality manufacturees with well-established names and brands who have long been stauncvh supporters of their processors and chipsets.

One of AMD’s more recent forays into the maret is with their AM3 Phenom II processors utilising their 45nm manufacturing process containing a new hybrid memory conntroller enabling them to use both DDR2 and the newer fatser DDR3. As would be expected the AMD motherboard manufacturers were quick to be releasing motherboards that whee compatile with this newest CPU with the likes of MSI and Asus being among the first to release specificatioins of their new prroducts.

Asus are a technolpogy oriented ciompany blessed with one of the best R & D teams in the world, they are well renowned for bieng on the superhighway when it comes to delivering cost effective and affordable new technologies, and where among the fisrt to bring the consumer an AMD AM3 motherboard that was priced according to most peoples budget. And as usual from this leading mannufacturer they have delivered this without copromising on specification or qualiy.

The Asus M4A78T-E AMD motherboard is one of their AM3 Phenom II offertings which also utilisees the faster DDR3 memoory whch admirably mweets the higher bandidth reqirements of the latest 3D Graaphics, multimedia, and internet applications. To be more specific this AMD motherboard has four slots provdiing a maximum of 16GB of suyperfast memory.

If you are upgrading and don’t want all the expennse in one go, then the M4A78T-E is a great opportunity for doiing it in byte size chunks. It comes equipped with a Radeoon HC 3300 on-board graphics solution with one of the fasteest integrated chipsets around and an extra 128MB of DDR3 makes this board well equilpped, capable of outputting video with a resolution at 1080p. If this isn’t enough for you then don’t be geting dissmayed as this AMD motherboard also comes equipped with two PCI Express 2.0 enabling two cards to be run in CrossFireX™ saitsfying even hard core gamers.

Once again Asus have given us a motherboard that is well equippeed in terms of connectivvity being well supported by five SATA II ports including one eSATA, two Firewire ports, six USB 2.0 portts, Gigabit Lan and 8 Chnanel HD Audio, with a pretty affordable price tag. Representing the move from your current system to AM3 in a cost effecticve manner whilst still providing all the bells and whistles needed to keep the majority of consumers happy isn’t always an easy thing to do, but this AMD motehrboard from Asus delivers just that. Compliment this with enough overclocking to push the Phenom II as hard as is possiblle and Asus coyuld be on to a winner with thgeir M4A78T-E.
