Mixed Martial Arts is good and is drawing in an enlarging portion of the American public. MMA leagues are popular around the world. Japan's Pride FC and U.S. based UFC have several of the very interesting fighting in the world to offer. With new leagues popping up seemingly by the day, this is a kind of acrivity which is sure to keep on its rapid growth. What is it about martial arts video training that people just can't resist?

The Main Items
Cage fighting is the form of mixed martial arts which gained the great popularity in the U.S., while in Japan opponents square off in an ordinary boxing ring for MMA matches. While MMA fighters wear thin gloves to defend their hands, almost all do not wear shoes at all - people who do opt for wrestling shoes. How many rounds comprise each match, the majority of matches are three or four rounds. There are a lot of different fighting kinds employed by MMA fighters that each match is unique; and this is one of the biggest reasons for the runaway popularity of this type of arts.

The Rules
While a martial art training video can look like a wild free for each person, there are several rules even here. Head butting, kidney punches and hits to the back of the head are forbidden. A match may be ended by referees if a fighter is rendered unable to fight, if a fighter gets a serious injury or if a fighter taps out.

The typical MMA fighter is taught in several fighting styles. While anybody with certain training in a fighting style can take part in a match, those who have learned three or more styles have the best possibility of success.

1) Stand-Up Game
Alike to a kickboxing match, MMA matches start with the two fighters standing against one another.
