North Greater london read Camden with as many gig pub clubs per square mile as there are style late night bars in Shoreditch and private members clubs in Soho. From the uber cool Proud to the rather grubby but constantly well-liked Monarch Camden is the homeland of the indie late bar club …… and nothing else. West London sorry to say suffers from the deadly RBKC (that's the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea) sickness who in their wisdom have actually put the kibosh on new late night late bar launches. Paradise in Kensal Green and Notting Hill Arts Club effectively have the scene to themselves.

What of South London? Well a grouping of laxer licensing legislation and more affordable prices has made it quite the locale of the moment (after East Greater london that is) with the Loft and Lost Society in Clapham both picking up various late bar accolades.
