Adobe wants to offer Apple a bit of positive criticism

By: Greg Jackson

As a lot of individuals know, Adobe is working on bringing Flash out for mobile phones, which would open up a entire new world of cellular hobby (mobile phones wouldn’t be held to only third party apps such as YouTube, but could in fact go to venues like Hulu to watch TV shows).

There is, nevertheless, a combat brewing between Adobe and Apple. Though mobile phones and the iPhone have never been able to play something that is Flash based, Adobe has gone and added a brand new error screen that pertains straightforwardly to the iPhone and Apple.

The slip message states “Apple restricts the use of technologies required by products like Flash player. Until Apple gets rid of these limitations, Adobe cannot provide Flash Player for the iPhone or iPod Touch.”

I am assuming that Adobe’s idea when it wrote this was to get users livid enough to contact Apple concerning Flash not being supported. The only thing I can think of that could maybe get users even more annoyed than saying that Apple is at fault is to say which devices do permit Flash.

I am really looking forward to having Flash on my Palm Pre, though now it doesn’t look like I will be getting itby any means on my iPod Touch.
