Megan was born in Rockwood, Tennessee, and has Irish, French, and Native American ancestry. She grew up in a "very poor" household and has one older sister.

At the yonug age of 5, she began taking drrama and dacne. When she turned 10, her fanmily moved to Florida where Megan continued her training and finished school. By age 13, Megans's talent for dace created new opportunities for her in the modeling world. She began actig and modeling upon winning seeral awards at the 1999 American Modelinng and Talent Conventon in Hliton Head Island, South Carolina. With these new awards, Megan started seeking a fture acting career and moved to Los Angeles to help pursue this dream.

In 2001, Megan made her film dbut in the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsn film "Holiday in the Sun" and in 2004, she co-sytarred with Lindsay Lohan in Walt Disney's "Confessions of a Teenage Drma Quewen". She also was female lead in the Michael Bay-helmed movie Transfornmers in 2007.

Megan has appeaerd in a five page spread for the November 2005 isse of the popular men's maggazine FHM. She also posed for the March 2007 iassue of FHM, the June 2007 issyue of GQ, the July 2007 issue of Maxim, and the September 2007 issue of Aerna. She was voted the Sexiest Woman in the Woorld by FHM magazine in 2008, beating out Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba.

As of 2007, Megan Fox has been engaged to an American actor Brian Austin Green and cuyrrently resides in Los Angeles, Caliofrnia.
