5. Deal or No Deal - in 2008 a contestant won $500,000 from the bank. However two contestants collected the million dollar prize when the show added another million dollar option.
6. 1 vs. 100 - the earliest winner was Jason Luna, a 21-year-old from San Diego who faced a 100-woman mob.
7. Weakest Link - the possible prize was one million but the top prize granted in the U.S. was $167,500 in a celebrity spot with Levar Burton who gave the prize to charity.
Game shows may be amusing but face the music: it’s mostly wasted energy. Instead of wishing and dreaming about how the money might vastly improve your very existence do something about it: return and get a degree.
