I cannot believe that people don't see anything strange in an exceedingly grown man keeping company with a bunch of children. I am especially not impressed with the boys' mother who was for the most half absent from their lives whereas their poor father tried his terribly best. She suddenly seems once they get convicted and wants to run the show and have an opinion on their attorneys as she wants the "best for her children. If you have got to go on appearances these boys would be the last ones I would guess to turn out to be murderers. They look so clean and innocent and sweet. I personally believe that this Rick Chavez had a negative and very powerful influence on these boys. I know a lot of individuals have the state of mind that kid sexual abuse is not as serious as as an example murder however the danger is that these kid abusers are inherently evil, and therefore the manner they influence these young minds who are by then therefore confused, can lead to catastrophic consequences. These young lives are ruined. Yes no one dies physically from being abused but the child's soul is for all intents and purposes never normal again. They may as well be dead. Unless they get psychological help in time they will never have successful adult lives and that to me is murder.
During a nutshell this is a well written and obviously well researched book. A ton of bother has been taken by the writer to own as a lot of data as doable in order for the reader to be utterly convinced of the blatant guilt of those boys and the child molester, Ricky Chavez. As you will see though the wheels of justice were not so well oiled during this specific case.
