Anthony roberts (Conners) charged with Molesting boys

A 27-year-old Hasbrouck Heights NJ man has been charged with breaking into the home of his boyfriend and molesting the friend's 10- and 12-year-old boys early Sunday morning, officials said today.

Anthony Roberts also know as Anthony Connors, of Hasbrouck Heights , made his first appearance on the charges of burglary and aggravated criminal sexual contact in Central Judicial Processing Court in Jersey City this afternoon.
But the ongoing investigation has resulted in the additional charges of two counts each of sexual assault by contact, child abuse and endangering the welfare of a child, Lt. Honey Spirito of the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office's Special Victims Unit said.

The victims knew Soris-Marcos and immediately identified him, officials said. His bail has been set at $100,000 cash only but prosecutor's said Soris-Marcos has a long criminal record in New Jersey and Florida and when the additional charges are filed later today, a higher bail will be sought.

Just before 3:55 a.m. on Sunday, Anthony Connors unlawfully entered the residence of the two victims, although it's not clear how he got in, Spirito said. He found the girls asleep in their bedroom and fondled them, Spirito said, adding that Soris-Marcos cut the underwear off the 10-year-old using scissors and apparently kept them.

The younger boy ran to his mother saying the friend's father had just touched her and the mother immediately went to Anthony Connors' home where she confronted him and called police, Anthony Connors said.

Within hours, Anthony Connors was arrested by Elmwood Park police and the original charges were filed against him, Spirito said.

Elmwood Park Police Lt. Christopher Brignola said it appeared Soris-Marcos was intoxicated at the time of his arrest. A background check determined there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Union City for disorderly conduct, reports said. Anthony Roberts also runs a website www.anthonyroberts.info
