Portraiture is what one man is engaged in and his subjects include parakeets, alligators, and a winning black angus and this is not only becoming a highly specialized art business but a successful one as well. He went into the pet portrait painting business in earnest, with increasingly happy financial result.

Several of his newest creations were presented at the cow palace. From this he was able to receive countless requests for him to make portraits of fine show horses, a pet parakeet whose owner raised it from an egg, and also a champion rabbit. From a well known television actor singer and recording artist came about the request for him to make a portrait of his horse. He was contracted to make the portrait of the award winning black angus. The subjects usually do not kick and he likes it better than painting people portraits.

From a big university in Santa Clara comes a new director of the gallery and museum and she was the former director of a big museum in San Jose and she assumed her post following a reverend who died early last month. A renowned artist is what she is and she exhibited nationally as well as locally at the palace of the legion of honor.

An exhibit at a gallery in San Francisco is where a local sculptor will display his work. What will be exhibited are thirty of his works ranging from neo classical to highly abstracted forms. He is a highly talented artist who is also a writer and photographer apart from conducting a ballet school. The movie spectre of a rose is one which he starred in. Coming from a private collection will be more than 200 objects, sculptures, paintings, prints, and books that will be displayed in a famous museum.

When it comes to a couple from Pennsylvania there is a collection spanning 50 years. From a dozen renowned painters is the works it includes plus scores of other historic greats. When it comes to collecting books the husband started when he was still a student of Harvard but he has been able to get his hands on many of the more valuable objects by buying them on installment.
