Astral Projection for Starters: Out of Body Experience How to Do It

Have you ever dreamt of an event so lucidly and clearly that you remember the details? Paranormal and psychic scholars believe that this is already astral travel. However, the experience of it is limited since many people hardly remember a dream after it. Moreover, you do not have control of your consciousness during the dream. If the subconscious region of the mind can be used, the person can "project" him/herself from the physical shell. While in this state, you will feel light and relaxed. Continue breathing normally and try to think about nothing. This will be very relaxing. Just condition yourself not to fall asleep because that will defeat the purpose of the exercise. Continue to feel every part of your body, and then command it to sleep. Indicators of a successful attempt are sensations of numbness or shaking. Then, you will feel very light, as if you can fly.
Another popular exercise programmed by Gross involves literally seeing yourself from the outside. This can only be done if you already have some degree of mastery on the previous exercise. Now that you can quiet your body at will and you can feel weightlessness, it is time to ride it. Slowly, form a projection of yourself from your lying position. Think that you are transferring your consciousness on that projection and, slowly, let your weightlessness carry you.
The time frame for succeeding in the exercises varies among practitioners. Some takes just a few weeks while some may take years. The trick here is to focus and to keep an open mind. The skill of astral projection may sound implausible but, if you will think positive and open about it, it is achievable.
Finally, this is another tip for the out of body experience how to: Sleep soundly but try to remember your dreams at the same time. Before going to sleep, say three times that you will remember your dreams for the night. This is a way to use your subconscious. After a few days, you will notice that you are remembering your dreams better. With constant practice of the subconscious, you will find that it is easier to perform the astral projection exercises.
