EASYMOVE 6.1.

EasyMove 6.1 is a PC-based application that can be easily installed
on Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP in just a few minutes. This
application is a boost to medical transcription services by securely
transferring voice files from hand-held dictation devices and other
dictation systems of practitioners, to the PC and directly into the
work flow management system. It is an input module that saves voice
files based on job type, date, or other parameters. The files are
authenticated by a "general.exe" configuration, and is
client-specific. The user files are named with three-letter initials
of the client,when there are multiple users in a given hospital or
clinic, and a direct path is mapped, for ease of uploading and duly
saving the voice files.

In contrast to the older version of EasyMove, EasyMove 6.1 has a new
feature. Once the program is activated, it negates navigation of data
upload. The software automatically locates and retrieves the input
data from the recording device, which is saved in specific folders,
the path being mapped to the directory. In addition, the software
checks and duly transfers relevant voice files at specified
intervals; thereby keeping up a punctual inflow of work to the core
module. In doing so, the transcription service is able to avail the
voice files, and ensure prompt return of transcribed material. This
will prove advantageous to the client, in this case a practitioner,
as he/she will not have to repeatedly check and send the files after
every input into the PC. The type of voice file to be retrieved from
the folder and sent can be determined by specifying the audio file
extensions and hence the software will not pick up any file without
the set, specific file extension;such as ".wav", for example. Apart
from file-type, file-size settings can also be enabled to filter
unwanted files and zero-byte files by adjusting the "Excluded
file-type settings".There is also provision for setting the period
for maintaining the backup of the dictation files.

Another feature to be highlighted about this software are the
detailed log files and reports available for reference. It is
user-friendly and helpful for locating and checking job status,
activity status, tracking numbers,etc.

The safety of data transfer is ensured by multi-layered security and
file encryption. This allows safe transfer of details from the
client to the medical transcription service and vice versa.

With EasyMove 6.1, the medical transcription services have risen to a
higher level of efficiency, which will benefit the practitioner, in
dispensing faster diagnosis and treatment. It is most important that
the transcribed reports are available to the clients at the earliest.
