IT Controls in my living and their effect on industry

My being changed in Summer 2005. At that point i decided to grow to be an IT Auditor. It seemed very peculiar for some of my friends, as my campus studies were all concerning programming competences. A good number of my college folks became programmers - some are functioning in Web programming, several create unique billing systems. And i became an IT Auditor.

As such, the phrase IT Controls is following me all over the place. Hence, lets look at what does it mean - control, and particularly - IT Controls.

A large amount of our today's businesses are operating numerous computer systems for their business and financials. These systems create different goods, deliver numerous services, calculate salaries, keep under control our interest rates, drive numerous} bills to us, etc. As we can see, there are lots of computer systems which control our daily activities, help us live in today's multipart world. However who and how keep under control all these systems? How we can be ensured, that our payment were calculated correctly, that various goods were fashioned as we expected - how to control that all these systems are functioning as we require them to work? This is a superior question, isn't it?

My response to this issue is - we are. We, IT Auditors, manage, or sometimes facilitate to control, all IT systems in the world. Surely, all companies and their IT workers should controltheir private IT systems by implementing numerous IT Controls. That's where we encounter this word first time. IT Controls - it is various procedures, which must be taken by some custodian IT personnel in order to controland ensure the regular operations of IT systems. But the planet is at all times a circle, isn't it? That is why someone must controlthese custodian IT workers to make sure that their IT Controls are operated as expectedby company management. So, what we have at this time. Particular guys at a particular company must create a number of IT Controls, and some guys, IT Auditors similar to me, must come and test their IT Controls and confirm that these controls functioneffectively. Regularly how it works - the IT custodian workers is accountable to run IT Controls on daily basis, and IT Auditor comes once per yearto analyze the IT Controls and prove that all of them were operated efficiently for the period of the last year. Such tests are recurring each year.
By executing tests of IT Controls on a consistent basis, we guarantee that these specific IT systems work as they should work.

There are hundreds and thousands and millions of various companies worldwide, there are even more IT workers in all on these companies, and there are thousands of IT Auditors in the World to analyze all the IT Controls in all systems. Surely, not all companies have the same procedure, there are manybusinesses who have not implemented any of IT Controls yet, but they will do this. If not, such companies will discontinue their business as sometime their IT systems will discontinue runningproperly.

That is why i suspect, that my function as IT Auditor is vastly essential. As any other occupation in the World. By doing our work we make our lives enhanced. My work is to examine IT Controls and make sure that IT systems work as they be supposed to work. Mankind is developing more and more difficult IT systems at the present time, that is why all IT Auditors global will have more and more work each year.

Lets control all these systems and not let them to manage us!
