Kodak High Definition Pocket Video Camera Gives You Fantastic Memories.

By: malcolm Ivinson

I've recently purchased a Kodak HD Pocket Video Camera since I was taking a month long break to go to see the Canada National Parks and I wanted to upgrade my Video capability. For photographs I use an older Canon 7.1 mega pixels Power Shot A620 camera. I love it but it's not that good on the video side. I was going to upgrade the complete Digital camera to obtain superior video quality but then I stumbled on the Kodak HD Pocket Camera’s.

I am not a expert genius and to be truthful I don't really want to gain knowledge of all the in and out of f-stops and aperture adjustments. I like a digital camera that is trouble-free and easy to operate and gives me impressive quality pictures.

As I said I was seeking to improve the video side of my holiday visits and someone pointed out that I could get a pocket high definition video camera. So I commenced to hunt on the World-wide-web for HD video cameras.

I narrowed it down to 2 the Flip HD Camera and the Kodak HD Pocket Video Digital camera and to be honest there didn't appear to be a lot in it. One appeared to be slightly better in one thing but a tiny bit worse on something else. What swung it for me with regard to the Kodak was the price! For very modest cash I was receiving a high quality product. Deal done.

So I ordered it on the Sunday evening and it was shipped to my door on Tuesday morning. The parcel included the camera, a carry bag, two AA NiMH rechargeable batteries, a battery charger, a USB cable, a composite AV cable and HDMI lead. There is also the various guarantees and a fast start guide so I didn't have to wade through lots of material to be taught how to use it. There is also a on the house editing program that you down load from Kodak's website.

I could not wait to try out my new Kodak HD Camera, so off I went to the backyard to try it out for quality and I was at the crispness and clarity of the video and the sharpness of the audio. I also did a number of interior takes as well, which were equally as impressive. The static pictures are respectable but for pictures I'll stick with my trusty Canon.

If you are in the market for a good quality Pocket video digital camera at a wonderful price I would endorse the Kodak HD Pocket Camera.

Because:

*It's straightforward and simple to use.
*It gives you a great quality high definition video and still pictures.
*A variety of video modes can be chosen.
*It's pocket sized so no large camera to lug about.
*It's robust and weather resistant so if it gets splashed, rained on or snowed on it doesn't matter.
*The video storage is on SD cards so you have unconstrained video capacity..
*The batteries can either be regular AA or rechargeable. [A charger is included inside the box]
*There is an uncomplicated edit program for you to produce your own shows and upload to youtube if you want
*There is both HDMI and standard composite cables in the box so you can watch directly on your TV.
*The outlay is set to give maximum value.

My advice is to buy a Kodak HD Pocket Camera.
I’ve got some tremendous high definition video of Banff National Park that I can bore my kids and grandkids with.
