Remember The Toy Dump Truck?

Each year, children sit down with their Moms and Dads and construct their Christmas wish list. Boys and girls all across the world dream about the toys that Santa or their parents or family members will hopefully obtain for them. They can't wait to see what is wrapped and waiting for them under the tree. Parents the world over often find that they just can't find everything that their children want, however. Various times, the hottest items go quicker than you can get to the store and if you have to wait until the last minute, you don't really have much to decide from. If you're one of the fortunate few, your son or daughter will ask for a toy dump truck and you'll have a wide variety of them to pick from.

I remember when my parents got me a toy dump truck. This was, believe it or not, after me asking for one for years. Yes, I'm a girl who likes to play with dump trucks. I used to drive my Barbie dolls around in the rear end of it and get them covered in filth and rocks.

It was all shiny and new and glistened when you got it. Chances are it didn't take you enormously long to change that.

I may as well have run it over with a toy dump truck, or a real one for that matter. The point I'm trying to generate is that all of the things that glitter before our kids's eyes seem to be silly trinkets, anymore. Why not get your boy or girl for that matter something that they will actually get out there and play with?

I took it out back instantly-after pulling it out of the cumbersome box that encompassed it. I at once hit the back yard and ran it to the ground. I loaded it up with mulch and muck and drove it all around the backyard.

I thought it was gold. I played with it until the back of the truck fell off and my father had to try to repair it. Unluckily for me, he was unable to. It was numerous years before it fell apart and by the time it did, my parents determined that I was old enough to not have it replaced.

So look at it this way, your children will not only be having fun living a life less ordinary compared to most of their contemporaries, they'll be genuinely in style with their vintage toys!
