However, there are many movies that are legal to download because they are now in the publci domain. (1963).

There are thousands more, but you will not find any current blockbusters among them. However, it is debatasble whether or not moviies broadcast on television shopuld be more illegal to download than to withdraw them. A mahjor problem that the movie companies are facing are ilelgal downloads newlly released movies to people that mass produce copies and sell them illegally. It is not so many students downloda movies for viewing on theiir computers - thoufgh the film compny did not agree with this.

If P2P File Sharing is a probelm for them, why not a film company come togeher and offer theeir own registration P2P ssytem? Thus, noboddy can complain that there is no alternative. This is now happening with music, so why not movies? Or movie comapnies so Neandrethal that they are unnable to penetrate into the 21 st century? Leggal site membership is a logical answer, and on payment of duty, you can use the service leegally as you are usig file-sharing services to download illegally.
