To hold her paints and brushes he made a specially designed table. There are specially crafted easels and display stands she made and stained and she uses them to show her work. It was a three by four foot portrait of a Labrador which was her biggest portrait.

The smoother dogs are easier to paint than those with longer coats. Never does she pose the dogs. They're never going to hold their heads just exactly right. She spends one hour to observe the animal so as to remember important details including the color of its coat, its sheen, its typical stance, and also the personality or character traits that are evident. Due to family commitments, she is only able to do a portrait a month. Other than doing housework, she takes vacations as well.
